A busy few days for the Broken Biscuit Club as we played every day over the weekend. It was good to finish the weekend though with a more relaxed time at the armchair sessions down at electrik in Chorlton. Plus I finally got to sample the Blueberry cake, supplied by Chu Chu, that Luke was waxing lyrical about. I've got to say it's pretty damn good and definitely up there with the best treats money can buy!
There's a sneak preview of the Mega Mela ShowReal at Contact on the 24th of July and we're there to provide entertainment in the Lounge area. Expect the usual Broken Biscuit Club magic except this time with an Indian flavour. We will be drawing upon the visual and audio delights of South Asia. Be prepared to see projections on the walls featuring Bollywood idols and Indian film classics all cut to the finest music from India and beyond. So whether you're into classic Bollywood or Indian influenced hip hop from the US it's sure to be a treat!
